Adam Glover, Performance Nutritionist

Adam Glover

Performance Nutritionist · @the_pirate_nutritionist

Adam is our Performance Nutritionist, part of the TC Coaching team. Every Team TC Coached Athlete gets to work with him 1:1, developing not just their everyday nutrition but their event and race-day fuelling too. He holds a Level 4 qualification in Nutrition Coaching from the BTN Academy.

His philosophy: keep it simple, effective and sustainable, bridging the gap between science and real life, so you understand nutrition, not just follow it.

WhatsApp. An athlete: I hated but loved that session. Tom: The message any coach loves to get.
Real message from an athlete.
TrainingPeaks comments on a run. The athlete: Think this is the best I've genuinely felt on one of these runs, felt like I absolutely smashed it and felt so good after it. Tom: Hells yeah, love it, and shifting nicely there.

Wayfinder Performance Coaching

The same coaches, for whole teams

Tom and Adam also co-founded Wayfinder Performance Coaching, which takes this approach into organisations. Not one to one: one structured programme for a group of your people, coaching how they train, how they fuel and how they live, pitched at the right level for each person.

If you have a team to think about and not only yourself, that is where it starts.

Starting over

Out at 40

Now

Still at it

The long version, if you have got a run to fill.

In this episode of the Combat Fuel Podcast, Tom sits down to talk about where he came from, what leading soldiers really taught him, and why he walked away from military life to change lives through fitness.
